REGULAR PATTERN
Music is an art form with the medium is sound. Some elements of music are pitch, rhythm, dynamics, timbre and textures, Rhythm is one of the aspect that brings pattern and characteristic to the music itself by creating alternate sound and non-sound over time when notes and chords are played in predictable intervals. Rhythms can be boardly categorized as random, regular, alternating, flowing and progressive.
PROGRESSIVE PATTERN
RANDOM PATTERN
The progressive movement of rhythm shows the characteristic of the music, likeswise through the stages of development of child, we can see the progress that they go through in their life to be the person they are in the future.
As seen in the concept model above, the black and white structure represent the notes in music instrument. The first black structures represent the beginning stage of child in the music world, where they still do not understand anything about music. The white structure in the middle represent the process where kids move to the next stage where they learn about notes and rhythm. At the final stages they will learn how to play instrument and the sound produce by each instrument, which represent by the combination of black and white structure.
